New Hairs

Here it is right after I got it cut:

And here’s the back:

And today– I think I like it better today than when the lady did it? Or maybe I just look less exhausted in this photo?

Compared to my inspiration picture:

I think the hairstylist did a good job! But I didn’t get Emma Stone’s face :’(

It’s perfect! Wow, your hair is so long, too! I really think you got Emma Stone’s EXACT haircut. And your face is pretty!

Thanks! It is getting really long. After posting these pictures I immediately had a strong urge to get a pixie cut again.

Help me, Kristina! The cycle is starting again!

      • Kristina says:

Have you ever tracked exactly when each phase of the cycle starts? (This is starting to sound like I’m asking about your period.) I just wonder if it has something to do with where you are in life emotionally, or maybe it’s just a constant, general grass-is-always-greener thing. Either way, both looks are great on you so I don’t think you can go wrong. And your hair is longer than mine right now! I’m growing mine out, but I don’t know for what. Sometimes I think I want a cool, wacky haircut (like IT person Fiona?!) but then sometimes I think I want long, flowy hair like in a commercial or a fairy tale.

YES I always want that commercial/fairy hair! Unfortunately I just don’t think that’s my hair’s destiny. I think I am probably lucky to be able to pull off a pixie cut (thanks to fine/thin hair) and I shouldn’t fight it. But I can’t give up on my fairy dreams just yet!

I think you should get a cool/wacky haircut! It will go perfectly with your blazers and converse! Maybe you can get a cool haircut after the race to celebrate/ fight off the post-marathon blues?
